Dorchester Living Bordon

Merritt Decorators were appointed to carry out the full internal decoration of a new build residential development at Dorchester Living, Bordon. The scope of works covered a significant number of properties across the development, requiring careful coordination to meet the programme and maintain consistent quality standards throughout.

Works carried out across each property included full preparation of all walls and ceilings, application of mist coat and multiple finish coats of emulsion, gloss and satinwood finishes to woodwork including skirtings, architraves, doors, and frames, and the hanging of wallpaper to designated feature walls and rooms. All decorative finishes were completed to a high standard in line with the developer's specification.

Given the volume of properties and the phased handover programme, our teams worked across multiple plots simultaneously, ensuring a smooth flow of works without compromising quality. Close attention was paid to surface preparation on all new plasterwork, colour consistency across plots, and pattern matching where wallpaper was specified.

The project demanded a reliable and well-organised workforce capable of maintaining high standards throughout a fast-paced, multi-plot environment, and was delivered on programme to the client's satisfaction.
